1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Teacherfy ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Teacherfy is an AI-assisted document generation platform for K–12 teachers. It generates professional administrative documents based on structured inputs provided by the user. Generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed before use.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • One account per user. You may not share accounts.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory.
  • Enter full student personally identifiable information (PII) such as full names, ID numbers, or addresses into documents.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service.

5. Subscription and Billing

Free accounts may generate up to 5 documents per month. Pro accounts are billed monthly or annually. Payments are processed securely via Base44 Payments. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the document content you create using the Service. Teacherfy retains ownership of the platform, software, and AI models. You grant Teacherfy a limited license to process your inputs solely to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may contain errors. Always review documents before sending to parents, administrators, or including in official records.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teacherfy's liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Teacherfy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
