Our Commitment

Teacherfy is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards. Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML and ARIA landmark roles for screen reader navigation.
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios meeting WCAG 2.1 AA minimums.
  • Keyboard navigability across all interactive elements.
  • Visible focus indicators on all focusable elements.
  • Descriptive button labels and form field labels.
  • Responsive design supporting text resize up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • No flashing content that could trigger seizures (no content flashes more than 3 times per second).

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas currently being improved:

  • AI-generated document output may not always include optimal heading structure.
  • Some complex form interactions may benefit from additional ARIA live region announcements.

We are actively working to address these limitations.

Teacherfy is built with React and relies on the following technologies for conformance: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WAI-ARIA. The Service is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), TalkBack (Android).
